About

Helger IT Consulting GmbH is the consultancy of Philip Helger, a software architect and open-source author focused on Peppol and electronic invoicing. The libraries listed below are used in production by access points, service providers and public administrations around the world, and are backed here by hands-on consulting for organisations building or operating e-invoicing and Peppol infrastructure.

Peppol knowledge dates back to 2008, and e-Invoicing knowledge stems from being the mastermind behind the Austrian Government eInvoicing solution (eRechnung.gv.at) as well as representing Austria in the CEN TC/434 which is in charge of standardizing the EN 16931.

Open Source

Much of the Peppol and e-invoicing ecosystem runs on freely available, Apache-licensed Java libraries maintained here. A selection:

phoss-ap – Complete Peppol AP based on phase4. phase4 – AS4 messaging engine used for Peppol and CEF eDelivery message exchange. phoss-smp – Complete Peppol SMP - used by more than 70% of all production SMPs. phorm – Validation service for Peppol and e-invoicing documents. ph-schematron – Pure-Java Schematron validation, the workhorse of document rule checking. ph-ubl – Java representation of the UBL document types used in e-invoicing. ph-cii – Java representation of the CII document types used in e-invoicing.
